About Us

First opened in 1974, Crocodiles continues to offer each child a unique and very special early years experience. As a long standing Ofsted Outstanding setting we are able to ensure that your child receives the very best care and early years education based on the individual interests and needs of each child. Working closely with families is at our core, developing a supportive and happy little community.

We understand how important finding the right childcare can be and we are here to help you every step of the way. We will guide and support you and your family from the moment you first make contact with us.

All our staff are DBS checked, committed and highly qualified practitioners who really do care. From a simple cuddle to lots of reassurance staff will be there with you every step of the way. Professional development and training means our team are up to date with the latest research and in touch with current thinking. Staff understand the importance of listening to the voice of the child and ensure parental partnerships really do work through the keyworker system in place. We want to ensure your child reaches their full potential before starting school.

At present there are 16 places per session, age ranging from 2 to 5+ years. We remain small through choice as quality is of paramount importance to us. The pre-school facilities are designed to cater for all children and offer both a range of experiences, including daily forest school/nature sessions. Be prepared for lots of adventures outdoors.
